Start with prayer. Now that you have your checklist in hand, it’s time to find teachers and volunteers to staff your Vacation Bible School. Address your congregation and invite volunteers to a planning potluck. Remind parents that a pre-registration event is being planned. Make sure to provide the date if you know it. Have a sign up list in your gathering hall or at the back of your church; appeal to your volunteer’s talents and how this is an opportunity to connect with the youth in your church community. Set up a date for your planning meeting; include this information and invitation for volunteers.
