This is a good time to take inventory of the items you will need. Are you using a predetermined study – how many students have registered? What is your student projection? It’s not too early to order the program. Items to be given to each child could include a Ribbon Bookmark with how to read the Bible; a Bible verse that is part of your VBS theme; or any encouragement that helps them follow Jesus. Bookmarks should include your church’s information as a reminder. You might also consider water bottles, pens/pencils, study bags, certificates of completion and awards. Plan enough time so items arrive well in advance of your date to avoid frustration.
