Go over your checklist to make sure you are ready for the week. This is a perfect time to organize a decorating party. Make the event fun for your staff. They are giving of their time and talents – they need some recognition and bolstering so they feel appreciated. That tone filters down to the students: positive builds on positive.
Remind them to plan fun into their program. This is also a good time to check with your pastor to know what date is planned for your “Rally Sunday” or Fall Festival. Talk to the pastor about ordering Save the Date magnets for this event to send home with your students at the end of VBS.
