Call your planning meeting to order with a prayer. Now is a time to talk about or introduce you theme for Vacation Bible School. This will set the tone for marketing materials, set up, student awards and your closing event or program. Invite lively conversations from your volunteers. Share information if you are using a predetermined study. Assign tasks with deadlines to all volunteers. Work to include everyone. Many hands make easy work. If you can, team up past volunteers with new volunteers to be mentored for the best results. Remember to thank your volunteers for their time and talent.
